Cybertruck: is Tesla's futuristic pickup really bulletproof? A YouTuber took the test

A YouTuber decided to test the ability of the Tesla Cybertruck body to stop bullets. And the least we can say is that his demonstration, even imperfect, is nothing more convincing than Elon Musk's failed test on the windows of the pickup.

The Tesla Cybertruck is a great proposition. The futuristic pickup, which starts at $ 39,900, adopts a radical design with an all-angled 304 steel frame that simplifies vehicle manufacturing. While making it extremely solid, at least on paper.

THE CYBERTRUCK IS NOT TOTALLY BULLETPROOF, BUT ITS STRENGTH WILL STILL BE EXCEPTIONAL

Because if you remember the presentation, you know that the demonstration of the solidity of the vehicle did not quite go as planned. Elon Musk doesn't just say the Cybertruck is durable. The vehicle is apocalypse proof which was well worth selling as “bulletproof”.

A term a bit “over the top”, we would say, for most Tesla customers. Especially since when Elon Musk's assistant tried to demonstrate the resistance of the windows by throwing nickel bullets into them, the so-called bulletproof glass broke miserably… with each test. However, this should not be taken as a sign of “fragility”.

Everything about this vehicle exudes strength and durability. A Youtubeur has also put the same 304 steel of his body to the test with a long-rifle. And the result is final: despite several attempts, only one bullet managed to pass through the metal as you can see in the video at the end of the article. We therefore do not necessarily recommend

using the Cybertruck in theaters of war.
